On the occasion of birth centenary of Dr. Hedgewar in the year 1991, it was decided to start various Seva projects all over the country. During that time some like minded people in the State of Goa decided to work for the education of children from low economic stratum and remote villages. Accordingly vasatigruha/hostels were started at Canacona, Painguini and Netravali one by one under the organisation of Keshav Seva Sadhana.
The small seed sown in 1991 has grown into a big tree now having one vocational training centre at Canacona, two schools for special children, one each at Bicholim and Valpoi, A computer training centre and A centre for training Goan youth for competitive exams at Betoda, A physiotherapy centre and A hostel for young boys pursuing their higher studies at Betoda, in addition to earlier three vasatigruha/hostels.

We work for education, health and employability skills of children from low economic stratum and remote villages. We work on the principle of right to education and health of all Indian citizens, especially children, who might lose their rights only because of their low economic condition and remoteness of abode.
